Specialisations

Three areas of focused practice.

We don't claim to be everything to everyone. We focus on the patients whose care benefits most from a physio who knows their world.

02 — Specialty

Neurological Rehab

Post-stroke recovery, MS, Parkinson's, and acquired brain injury. Long-form rehab plans paced to where you are in recovery.

03 — Specialty

Aged-Care & Support-at-Home

Physiotherapy for older adults — falls prevention, balance, post-hospital rehab. In-clinic visits, home visits, or facility visits.

About Matthew

A physio who chose the harder areas.

Matthew Denman is the Principal Physiotherapist at Redcliffe City Physiotherapy. The clinic was built around a specific idea: that NDIS participants, people recovering from neurological events, and older adults deserve physiotherapy that's actually built for them — not retrofitted from a generic sports-injury practice.

That shows up in how sessions run: longer initial appointments, written goal-progress reports, plan-management support, and the option of home visits when getting to the clinic is the obstacle to recovery.

The patients other clinics call "complex" are the ones we built the clinic for.

Affiliate clinic of The Physiotherapy Academy and The Allied Health Academy — keeping the clinic's assessment and rehabilitation approaches current.

Your visit

What the first appointment looks like.

i

Funding sorted first

NDIS, Medicare EPC, DVA, WorkCover — we sort the funding paperwork upfront so the appointments themselves can stay focused.

ii

Long initial assessment

First visit is a full 60 minutes. History, examination, and goal-setting with the patient (and family/support if helpful).

iii

A written plan

You leave with a plan in writing — what we're working on, how many sessions, what success looks like. Progress notes provided for plan managers.

Can't get to the clinic?

We do home visits across Redcliffe, Margate, Scarborough, Kippa-Ring, Clontarf and Rothwell. Common for NDIS, aged-care, and post-hospital patients.
